We've just dropped an update to Leave Dates that'll make your bank holiday management tracking go from easily overlooked "mind-numbing admin task" to "wow, this is already done"!
Picture this: Our support team was getting panicked emails. "Help! Where are our bank holidays?" "Oh no, somebody had already requested time off, and the bank holiday was not taken into account when calculating the deduction from their allowance"
We started tallying the support tickets, and it was clear – our customers were spending too much time stressing about bank holidays, rather than actually enjoying time off. Talk about irony! 🤦♀️
So we thought, "What if we could just... make this easier?"
Remember those moments when you're trying to figure out bank holidays, and it feels like you're solving an international puzzle while blindfolded? Those days are OVER.
Actually, that was already over. You've always been able to import bank holidays into Leave Dates.
But now, we've made sure you can no longer forget to do it for future years.
Our new feature is the Swiss army knife of holiday management. It's like having a calendar ninja that:
Let's be real. Sometimes, calendars are about as predictable as a cat on espresso. Need proof? Remember when the Queen's funeral threw everyone's holiday plans into complete chaos? 😂
We get it. That's why our system is basically the holiday equivalent of a flexible yoga instructor – bend, twist, adjust, no problem!
We'll import the bank holidays, just tell us when. And when life does happen, you're still able to add (or remove) some imported dates.
The new automatic bank holiday management feature is now live. If you have already configured calendars to be added automatically, we've also enabled this feature for you.
The feature can be toggled and configured on the Settings > Holidays page.
